Director of Sales and Marketing: Andy Scheu – Andy joined Time & Pay’s sales staff in 2010 after experiences with the Marketing Dept at the UTC Athletic Dept and the insurance industry. Andy concentrated on Chattanooga and the surrounding area, focusing on making sure his clients were provided with the best products, service and value when it comes to managing their payroll and related areas. While Time & Pay services businesses in over 40 states, Andy now focuses on the East Tenn, SW Virginia, and W. North Carolina areas growing our staff and business, and providing customer outreach. Andy attended the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, where he received his degree in Business Marketing and met his wife, Keri. He is on the board of Young Professionals of Chattanooga and is very involved in supporting the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation organization. Andy enjoys traveling, playing golf and soccer, and cheering on his Tennessee Vols and Atlanta Braves.

Director of Operations: Kristie Ayers – Kristie is a native of NE Tennessee and has been with Time & Pay since 2003. She is very knowledgeable of payroll, our Millennium payroll system, and our ATA systems. In addition, she has a wide range of computer skills and sets a strong example for treating our customers with the service they expect and deserve. Kristie is well deserving of earning her way to the Director of Operations position after years of hard work. Kristie has two daughters, Katlyn and Courtney, and currently sits on the board for the Blue Plum Festival. She enjoys volunteering, attending sporting events and concerts, and traveling, especially to warm, sunny beaches.

Director of Finance: David Barrowclough – David grew up in NE Tennessee before going to the University of Tennessee, where he received his degree in accounting. After helping companies in the Knoxville area with their accounting processes, David went to work for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he specialized in auditing at Eastman Chemical. David brings years of financial and accounting experience to Time & Pay, as well as a strong business acumen. He is an active member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is married to his wife Jessi, and father to two boys, Gabriel and Ronan. In his spare time, David enjoys golfing, boating, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Steve Scheu: Founder – Born in Buffalo NY, Steve moved his family to Johnson City in 1991 and opened Time & Pay in 1992. Prior to that, Steve had been in residential construction and manufacturing on the operational side and had plenty of involvement in the payroll and timekeeping processes and it’s associated pitfalls. At the time of its founding, Time & Pay was the only payroll company in the area and one of the few payroll companies in the country that made automated timekeeping an integral part of its business model and service offerings. “I always felt that tracking hourly employees and calculating hours worked is an important part of the payroll process. Automating the process is so cost effective and provides such an excellent return on investment. It clearly set us apart from the competition. Our objective will always be to provide our customers with quality, cost effective payroll processing and related services to better manage their business and ensure compliance.” Steve is married, has 2 boys (who are now pursuing successful careers of their own). Now retired, Steve remains very active in the Johnson City community. He sits on the board of the Hands On! Regional Museum, is an active member of the Johnson City Rotary Club, The Tri Cities Boating Club, and The Johnson City Jazz Festival, and is involved in other area organizations and civic activities.
