The Tennessee Labor Dept has implemented changes that require a new labor law poster.
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Unemployment Division updated the unemployment benefit claims website, Jobs4TN.gov, as the official website to file claims and has connected the unemployment system with a job search database. This will allow a better connection between the unemployment benefits claim process with a job search database.
The unemployment claim process, by asking more questions up-front, is able to instantly recommend available jobs within the Jobs4TN network. Based on a claimant’s work history and interests, job recommendations are now an integrated component of the updated unemployment and job fulfillment process in Tennessee.
As a result, the Tennessee Unemployment Insurance poster, which must be posted at all places of employment, has been updated to reflect an improved unemployment benefit claim website. State regulations site that this is a mandatory change. Thus all employers must update their state labor law posters by April 24, 2017 to ensure compliance.
